WOW 2.0 is an event connecting local employers with high school seniors interested in entering the workforce full-time following graduation, working part-time while attending college, or enrolling in an apprenticeship program with a regional company.Ahead of the event, schools will work with seniors who do not currently have a plan for after graduation and provide support by helping them create resumes, practice interview skills, and complete career readiness certifications like Florida Ready to Work.At WOW 2.0, students will interview with four companies and receive a contingent job offer (green card) or an opportunity to explore other options (pink cards). After the event, volunteers will ensure follow-up between students and employers to finalize next steps.
