Having strong leaders to work in this field is vital to the success of our children and community as a whole! To teach Pre-k through 12th grades in Florida, you must complete an approved teacher education program which does require a bachelor’s degree. To teach at the university level usually requires a Ph.D. If you like the idea of education but the classroom isn’t the place for you, other careers include media specialist, guidance counselor, or bus driver.
The TEACH Grant Program provides grants of up to $4,000 a year to students who are completing or plan to complete course work needed to begin a career in teaching. Click here to learn more!
